For our founder, Lisa Henderson, design is a way of being. It’s everywhere—in how you wrap a present, set a table or balance past, present, and future in your home.
Lisa is a perfectionist who listens intently. A detail-oriented professional who delights in collaboration. Most of all, she’s dedicated to helping people find the inherent soul in their living spaces.
A native of Canada, Lisa settled in Los Angeles in 1991. Before founding Harvest, she gained experience at a handful of Los Angeles architectural firms, including Gensler. During graduate school, her work with a forensic architect led her to the historic landmark district Bungalow Heaven in Pasadena. This involvement sparked her interest in Southern California’s rich architectural legacy.
You might find Lisa in a stone yard, selecting just the right slab; crawling beneath a house; brainstorming in our South Pasadena studio; or organizing an art event for kids.
“I design things for how you live,
connecting you and your home in an authentic way.”
